For The Animals at The Heart Of It All
As you know, rodeo animals are athletes.
Travel, competition, changing environments, and high levels of activity place demands on their bodies and nervous systems.
Reiki is a gentle energy practice intended to support relaxation, balance, and overall well-being. When the body is able to relax, it has a better opportunity to rest, recover, and return to a more balanced state.
For animals that work hard, that recovery matters.
Unlike human athletes, animals can’t choose their own recovery routine - they depend on the people who care for them to create those opportunities.
Reiki can offer one more layer of support for the rest and recovery animal athletes already need - gently, respectfully, and without disrupting their routine.
Where REIKI Fits Into Their Routine
Gentle recovery support built around the demands of Rodeo Life
BEFORE AN EVENT
A calm period before competition can help an animal settle and prepare for the activity ahead.
AFTER AN EVENT
After physical effort and stimulation, time to unwind can support rest and recovery.
DURING TRAVEL
Long hauls and changing surroundings can be stressful. Support can help ease the transition.
BETWEEN EVENTS
A quiet recovery period between performances can help an animal rest and reset.

WE DECIDE TOGETHER
We'll choose what works best for you and your animals, including whether in-person or distance Reiki makes the most sense.
3
THEY STAY COMFORTABLE
Your animals can remain where they are, move around, rest, eat, or simply do their own thing while Reiki is offered. There’s no need to restrain them, hold them still, or relocate them for the session.

Distance Reiki
When in-person isn't practical
Distance Reiki allows me to work with your animal even when I can’t be there in person. It can be useful during travel, busy event weeks, limited-access situations, or after the event is over and your animal is back home, at the ranch, or wherever they’ve gone next. There’s no need to move them, change locations, or add another interruption to the day.Distance sessions are available anywhere. To learn more about Distance Reiki, its benefits, and the research behind it, visit the Reiki Research and FAQ pages or reach out to me!
Compassion Without Division
My work is rooted in compassion, not judgment.
I do not believe an animal should be denied comfort or support because people hold different views about the world surrounding them.
Whether an animal lives in a home, barn, ranch, arena, rescue, or somewhere often unseen, they are worthy of gentleness, respect, and care.
My role is not to judge or choose sides. My role is to be there for the animal.
